The dark days of winter call for a Dark Industry release – on comes Nemini Parco, the under-the-radar project of Barcelona-based producer Silent Humanity. While the six tracks on “Para Bellum” have been produced with a rhythmic structure around the 120bpm mark in mind, they are not dominated by rhythms – and actually defy club use, even the schizophrenic Silent Humanity remix. This is a 35-minute journey, a mini album that presents concise cuts loaded with an intense, at times soundtrack-like atmosphere, a careful composition of lush pads and eerie sounds, choirs, acid bleeps, vague percussions, bass throbs, vocoder voices… you name it, you get it.
