Blacklight Sessions returns after over a year with a new project by Struchni. Behind the generic track titles lurk two compelling slabs of clatter funk, strongly reminiscent of 90s greats such as Matthew Herbert, with minimal grooves, soulful sounds and samples and slick bass lines. „Techno 11“ is the more obvious choice for the dance floor with its vocal hook and hooter, but „Techno 12“ will also succeed there, sporting a subtle build-up of tribal africanism. Progressive retro, possibly a disaccord, but highly functional for the dystopian party crowd!
