The first Hidden Rooms release after the much regarded Pattern collection – let’s see what Maurice Pinkster has put in our stockings: The three tracks on this EP of course remain within the dark techno agenda, but add a distinct physical approach, with commanding bass lines dominating throughout. The title track also has some witty speech samples and sweeping sounds, “Lost Boys” works around a muscular, EBM-ish sequence and in “Neverland” an actual melody is peeled out of washes of evil, distorted acid. Pure joy for up-market techno heads!
