Following the “Into The Rabbit Hole” album earlier this year, Battling Anomaly has another release up his sleeve, three tracks pushing the project’s boundaries: “Nightmares” is an aptly titled slab of repetitive kicks and noise and eerie sound effects with slasher hihats; “Shadows” features the helping hand of Hidden Rooms who has brought a goose bump-inducing half-melody to the occasion; and it all ends with the erratic experimentalism of “Bleed”. A delicacy for the courageous types, those who embrace the blackness.
